Interactive iPad Presentation

Taught today using my iPad plugged into the projector.

I was able to draw on the iPad, display scriptures, underline stuff in the verses and draw live on a large screen

Here's how I did it:

The app was Sketchbook: http://bit.ly/iPadSketch
I plugged it in using: http://bit.ly/iPadPreach
(Keep in mind that the projector doesn't work with every app)

The scriptures that needed to appear in the presentation were done in a text program. I then did a screen shot and put it in my iPad photo library.

Once in my library I could import them into Sketchbook. I had them as single images in my gallery, you could also put them on layers.

Any other points or quotes were done the same way.

Once in the gallery I could click through them and they would show up on the screen. If i wanted to draw over the text or highlight/circle it, I would click "edit" and it would open quick and allow me to draw on it. I just used a brush with low opacity.

So it just became a combination of layers being turned off and on and the gallery.

I also used a stylus.

It took a little practice, but it was very effective.
